SUPPLIER NETWORK
GROWTH

During 2019/20 in recognition of the value that suppliers bring to our customers, we have concentrated our efforts in expanding our network.  This helps keep inventory fluid, current and attractive to buyers.

INVENTORY
RATIONALISATION

In 2018/19, a lot of our low value inventory was either been sold off or removed from sale.  This allowed us to focus our efforts on selling larger items and brokering higher-value more complex and demanding deals.

NEW
MARKETS

In 2020, and to facilitate incremental growth, Yak-aviation extended its focus on new core markets, namely aircraft sales, turboprop, turbofan and turbine engine and propeller sales, lease and overhaul.

EXTENDED
REACH

During 2019, and to support our planned journey of growth, we established a group of representatives, strategically positioned around the globe to allow us to take on a broader variety of client requirements.

WEB-SITE REFRESH

During March 2017, we took some time to update and modernise the site.  Removing the old content & completing some of the missing elements.  We added additional services and launched our revised annual aviation competition for 2017.

WORKSHOP ENHANCEMENTS

Since the move, we have settled in to the new premises and made some dramatic changes to working, living and organisational standards.  The net effect is that the workshop-come-hangar is now  centralised and we're fully operational again.

MOVED
PREMISES

Late 2016 and early 2017 have been extremely busy for our folks in Ukraine.

The entire operation has now moved to new premises, bringing everything together into a better organised environment.

ENGINE
OVERHAULS

2016 has been a year for engine and propeller overhauls. Increasing interest in the M14 range of engines has kept the entire team busy.  They have been overhauling and repairing engines across Ukraine.

GROUND UP
RESTORATION

Throughout 2015 and 2016 much has gone into the ground up restoration of a 1957 Yak 18A.

This has been moving forward slowly and surely and the team are now beginning to see the fruits of their labour.

COMPLETED MAJOR REBUILD

Through 2014 and 2015, much was accomplished on a flush riveted Yak 52.  It has undergone major overhaul work and is now ready for final specification.

The M14-P engine is very low time and has a custom stainless steel exhaust.
