Aircraft Options
This page provides an overview of the various options that are available for Yak-50, Yak-52, Yak-18A, Yak-18T and T-1 aircraft. As a pre-requisite, some of these modifications may require a consultation with a Vertical specialist before a formal quote is given.
All of our propellers (V530TA-D35/V508-B) are supplied in new, used or overhauled condition. In no circumstances will these propellers have been modified.
We offer used and overhauled M-14B, M-14P and M601-B powerplants only. None of our engines have been modified and we do not offer any engine modification services. For more information on engine modifications, M-14PF 400hp or M-14R 450hp fuel injected engines, contact Richard Goode Aerobatics.
A number of extended fuel options exist for the Yak-50/52/18A/18T and T-1 types. The main options are a) external mounting of wing tip tanks, b) the mounting of a tank in the rear fuselage compartment or passenger seat, c) or having the main fuel tanks extended further into the wings. We believe the most desirable option to be the extended wing tanks. This is however, the most expensive option. The new tanks are to be inserted into the wings and the fuel system must be upgraded during a significant overhaul. The other options do not require such extensive overhaul work and are not always practical; this is reflected in the price.
For those who have just about had it with the original interior, why not consider an upgrade to a new leather scheme. We are pleased to offer these new, high-quality products that really improve cockpit comfort, sound deadening and cosmetic tidiness; especially in Yak-18T and T-1 aircraft.
We are pleased to offer a new multi-stage wing flap modification for Yak-18A/18T/T-1 and T-1 aircraft. The large split-flap under the fuselage will be replaced with a 3-stage flap system mounted on the wings.
Please contact us for information on the different smoke system options that we can offer.
